• 1972 : Elite opens its first agency in Paris.
• 1977 : The New York agency opens. The Elite International Network is born. Three years later, the New York agency is ranked n°1.
• 1983 : The Elite Model Look contest is launched under the name “look of the year”. It is organized in over 55 countries.
• 1986 : Gerald Marie opens new horizons through the development of an international network of agencies. With over 20 agencies world wide, Elite doubles its revenues in 5 years.
• 1987 :Elite invents the “Star Model System”.
• 1998 : Elite develops range of branded products and creates the “Elite Attitude” concept.
• 2002 : Elite continues to open news agencies. The International network now has 36 agencies.
• 2003 : Elite Moves into the Asian market and marks the occasion by organizing the Elite Model Look final in Singapore. Shanghai follows up by organizing the final in both 2004 and 2005.
